These vehicles are being sold AS IS/NO WARRANTY and do NOT currently pass Pennsylvania State Inspection. However, in most cases these vehicles have current inspection stickers. In such case, the vehicle does not need to have repairs made until the current inspection sticker expires.
During our inspection process, we found some items that need to be replaced or repaired before it will pass Pennsylvania State Inspection. Of course we’d be happy to share those items with you before you purchase the vehicle. Please visit our store for a written list of those items. We obviously can’t see inside assembled components like the engine and transmission, but we do our best to find all major problems. Our honest and upfront inspection process will help you make a smart buying decision.
Are you a Mr. Fix-it? Do you know one? Buy a Sands Fixer Upper for at or near wholesale prices and have it fixed for less. Our low wholesale price on this vehicle will make it possible to purchase the vehicle and repaired for less money overall. You can even have a mechanic of your choice look at the car before you buy!
If the fixer upper currently has an expired inspection sticker, the purchaser will need to have the vehicle towed.
All sales are final.
Many of our customers are on a budget. Many of our customers also have the ability or know someone who does know how to make automotive repairs. Our prices are at or near wholesale prices, so our customers have the ability to purchase and repair for less money overall. These vehicles are great for someone looking for their first car, a second or third car, a more fuel efficient car, or let’s face it…the difference between getting to work or not!
Since we’ve already inspected these vehicles, we are ready to tell you upfront what repairs are needed to pass Pennsylvania inspection. You can add those repairs to the sale price and have them fixed at our service center before you take it. Or fix them at a later time as you feel necessary. The point is, you decide what is most important to you and fix them at your own pace.
DON'T BUY A CLUNKER! You can’t judge a book by its cover. You also can’t tell a clunker by its sheet metal. That’s why we inspect each car first and tell you what we’ve found. Is that person selling a car in their yard or classified ad going to tell you these things? Will they let a 3rd party mechanic check it out first? There’s always a risk when buying a used car, but we think our inspection process makes it easier and safer for our customers.
